Serving Veterans for Over Twelve Years
The Veterans Weekly Cup-of-Coffee is a group of over 700 Veterans. Many members attend the weekly 10:00 to 11:30 am Wednesday meetings at Denny’s in Rothschild, Wisconsin.
The meetings offer a place for Veterans to gather and enjoy a cup of coffee and a meal. Many of its members belong to other organizations including the American Legion, VFW, DAV, VVA, Never Forgotten Honor Flight and the Man of Honor Society.
The group does not have an agenda, dues, officers or bylaws. It is run strictly by volunteers and It operates with donations from local community businesses, residents and its members.
The group provides information of interest to Veterans and support for each other. Guest speakers that offer Veteran services and support are invited to speak at the meetings.
Denny’s offers wall space to display the U.S. flag, the groups banner and patriotic photos of Veteran members.
All Veterans of any age or era are welcome at the meetings. “Just grab a chair and say hello”.

What We Do
Making A Difference
Veterans Donate Meals
To Support Veterans
The Veterans Weekly Cup-of-Coffee group is donating meals at Denny's to Wausau area Veterans to thank them for their service. The group also delivers meals to Veterans on Wednesday's at about noon. Denny's meal cards are used for this program and are good for meals from the 55+ menu. They are donated by group members, family, friends, local businesses and Denny's customers.
Veterans and their care givers can receive the meal cards for free meals at Denny's when they attend our meetings. Veterans and their families or guest can also enjoy meals delivered to their home by our volunteers.
The group works with the Wausau American Legion Post 10, Marathon County Veterans Service Office and the Mar-Lin VFW Post 10203 to deliver the cards and meals.
If you know of any Wausau area Veterans in need, please contact Don at 715-573-3208 or firstname.lastname@example.org. He will arrange for the Veterans to get the meal cards or have meals delivered to their home.
